My journey as an artist began…
On my 16th birthday I was given my first SLR camera and a new creative pathway unfolded in front of me, leading me to art school and studying a degree in photography.
After going through many years of not creating, I started to commune with my creativity after the birth of my children. Stirring something in me so powerful. But it was in a dream that brought me back to my artist self, which led me to working with sound alchemy and my singing bowls. It was in this modality that brought me back home to my heart, opening hidden channels and clearing the pathways that had been formerly blocked.
My art comes from a deep and intimate place, a way of capturing and layering the soulful connection that I feel to the world around me. I have come to understand that when I create I am channeling from a source energy or a divine spirit which lovingly speaks to me in shape, form and layer.
A true remembrance, connecting to the wisdom that innately flows within me.
Over the years, and not knowing what this was made it was easy to ignore, suppress and be within fear of this magic. As I evolved on my journey I recognised these sensitivities as my soul gifts.
As an intuitive, empath and creative soul I am always inspired to create beauty and capture the energy of nature in all her magic.
Each creation is a transmission from a soulful place and I am so happy to share this now with others.
